Holiday Breakfast

December 5, 2018

Come celebrate the holidays with SMPS-St. Louis on Wednesday, December 5. Enjoy a casual breakfast and network with your fellow A/E/C industry colleagues. This event will benefit the Little Bit Foundation. Please feel free to bring a donation to help a child/family in need. Click here to view the items needed. Everyone who donates an item or makes a monetary donation to the Little Bit Foundation will be entered into a drawing for an Amazon gift card.

About the Little Bit Foundation:

The Little Bit Foundation was born in 2001 through a request from an inner-city teacher to provide coats for her students, who were arriving to school with arms literally blue from cold. Today it is a movement of over 130 volunteers and partners serving the basic needs of students in 28 St. Louis area schools. Since 2001, over 36,000 students have been impacted by the Little Bit Foundation.

Little Bit is committed to helping disadvantaged school children by creating a positive impact for personal growth, increasing self-esteem and encouraging a more focused and active learning environment. Their presence in the schools, working one-on-one with each child, combined with providing basic necessities (clothing, uniforms, winter coats, shoes, hygiene kits, health screening, vision screening, food, school supplies, and books) ensures each child’s personal dignity and breaks down the barriers to learning and succeeding. The consistent interaction, combined with basic necessities, has the power to change lives.
