Hey, Your Brand is Showing! If you have a business, you have a brand. And your brand is more than your logo. It’s how you make your clients feel, it’s the personality your company exudes, it’s the little details that make your firm stand out from the competition.
Whether or not you strategically manage it, your brand is telling the world who you are and what you stand for. What your brand conveys can make or break your business reputation, growth and bottom line.
But how do you know what your brand is saying? When should you embark on a branding makeover? Maybe a brand refresh would be better? How do you enforce your firm’s brand? SMPS is convening some of St. Louis’ leading branding experts to discover little things you can do to enhance your firm’s existing brand and what to do when you embark on the daunting task of a major rebrand. Join us for a lively panel discussion highlighting perspectives on branding from four different types of creative firms familiar with the issues faced by A/E/C clients.
Before the panel discussion, each panelist will give a short presentation on a specific branding topic:
- Brand (In)consistency: When & How to Challenge Authority. Expand your brand while keeping its efficacy.
- 5 signs it’s time to rebrand your architecture firm
- Left Brain, Right Brand: Using Big Data & Behavioral Science to Build Your Brand

Katy Fisher, Executive Creative Director / TOKY – For more than 20 years, Katy has applied award-winning thinking to shape the way people interact and connect with brands. Her work in brand development, creative direction, and design has been recognized by Communication Arts, Graphics, Type Directors Club, SMPS, AAF, AIGA, PRINT, HOW, and other publications. Katy lives with her husband Patrick and her son Max in the City of St. Louis. About TOKY: At TOKY, we articulate visions for a better world. Through our strategic design and communications work, TOKY has built a reputation for solving complex communication issues for the world’s top architecture firms. Our firm is often recognized for award-winning creative, but behind everything we do is research and objectivity. We believe that a deep, logical understanding of your audiences, brand, and goals leads to the best strategy, and in turn, to distinctive, beautiful design that cuts through the clutter
