Programs/Education Committee

The Programs/Education Committee of SMPS St. Louis is committed to providing high-quality programs that retain active members and attract potential members. Benefits of being a Programs/Education Committee member:

Sponsorship Committee

The Sponsorship Committee of SMPS St. Louis is responsible for acquiring sponsorship for all programs/special events, maintaining a sponsorship database and distributing thank you letters to sponsors for their contribution. Benefits of being a Sponsorship committee member:

  • Opportunity to strengthen interpersonal relationships with firms in the St. Louis SMPS chapter

  • Strengthen business development skills

  • Potential relationship building that could result in teaming on future projects

Membership Committee  

The Membership Committee actively promotes membership in SMPS St. Louis. They serve as the welcoming committee for all new members, encouraging engagement and event attendance, and acting as a resource to members looking to learn more about all SMPS St. Louis offers. The committee is also responsible for researching prospective membership opportunities, coordinating a yearly membership drive, and providing ongoing support to existing members.

Communications Committee

The Communications Committee of SMPS St. Louis is responsible for the design, production, and distribution of communication to members via the Chapter website, preparation and distribution of press releases, sending newsletters, and keeping all social media outlets current.
